The Courtauld Institute of art didn´t accept me to study next year history of art. and right now I only have two options: get into a normal high school in Portugal for a year in order to get proper tuition to successfully complete my exams next year or give up the idea of going to London and do an History of Art exam in order to continue my education in Portugal.
After regarding my option to stay in Portugal as an actual option I realised that entering in a Portuguese University would give me the chance to study for a year in my own language, do an Erasmus program in Paris, and apply for a Master Degree at the Courtauld Institute of Art, with the money I can save from studying 2 years in my country without having to pay for my living expenses, as it would be the case in London, while still having time to gain work experience and do internships in my area of interest.
Sometimes things that seem to be the worst that could happen do bring good options with them after all.
