Inspired by an old Vogue Book that I found one day while I was walking down in Chelsea, I decided to create a new series on my blog. Since I was a little girl I have always been fascinated with beauty. It always intrigued me the power of transformation inherent to cosmetics, creams, and beauty regiments. For me beauty is not about enslavement or comparison, it is about self empowerment and celebration: the ability to create and become whom we want to be. This new series will cover the basics of a strong beauty regiment. Everything a girl should know about taking care of her self: from diet, to exercise, hair, make up, skin and much more. Stay tuned :)
"The pursuit of beauty is not narcissistic, it is an essential way to build up confidence without which there is little achievement in anything. It gives measure, it brings it. Beauty today, is not a perfect face or a certain look - we have left those attitudes far behind. Beauty now is seen in the way a woman projects reflects and projects her body power and mental energy. Beauty is individuality. It is glowing health and vitality, it is awareness and action, it is science and technology and of course marvellous looks, a perfect skin, a superb body. We are no longer interested in quick cover-u effects but in long range plans to feel and look better. Within your grasp is the accumulated knowledge of years that can provide you with your ideal health and beauty spectrum bringing you the basics of body function, of artifices and aesthetics, of scientific and medical Influences... all adding up to complete self-awareness. Beauty is a science now. You are responsible for your body; your first move starts here"

I am a man inspired by your post. I do agree with you I think beauty is about empowering the self being aware that your look can make someone else's day and making at least yours. It's an attitude towards the world and nothing as to do with vanity but with confidence. It is about inspiring and get inspired. Very good, thank you !
